Crocodile Dream Meaning

Dreaming of a crocodile warns you about hidden danger or emotions you have pushed down. Like a crocodile lying half under the water, some problems and feelings cannot be seen from the outside, yet underneath they keep gathering strength. Notice what the crocodile was doing and the meaning becomes clearer.

• A crocodile attacking you

A problem or a person is becoming a direct threat to you.

• A crocodile floating calmly in the water

The danger is still dormant, but you need to stay alert.

• Escaping a crocodile's bite

You are trying to get out of a situation you cannot fully leave.

• Taming a crocodile or facing it without fear

You have started to recognize your inner fear, and recognizing it is the first step to dealing with it.

In old folk belief the crocodile is also a symbol of hypocrisy, and "crocodile tears" means a show of grief that is not real. So a hidden suspicion about someone's two-faced behavior can also lie behind this dream.
