Peacock Dream Meaning

Seeing a peacock in a dream usually stands for a wish to show yourself off to everyone. Just as a peacock spreads its tail feathers to display itself, this dream often comes at a time when your mind wants everyone to see your good side, or wants recognition for your work. The peacock's condition and behavior make the meaning clearer.

• A peacock dancing with its tail spread

Your confidence is at its peak, and you have gathered the courage to express yourself.

• A peacock sitting quietly with its feathers folded

This is a sign of a quality in you that has not yet come out.

• A peacock in a cage

You feel that some situation is keeping you from showing your talent or your beauty.

• A dull peacock losing its feathers

This matches a feeling that your confidence has cracked.

• A peacock strutting proudly

The dream warns you not to lose your real worth while chasing outward glitter.

There is nothing wrong with showing your beauty and confidence. Just make sure that what you show reflects the real you, and is not display for its own sake.
