Priest Dream Meaning
Dream interpretation
If you see a priest in your dream, it may symbolize spirituality in your life. It indicates faith, a desire to distance yourself from worldly matters, and a move away from doubt. The priest may represent a guide or an ideal to follow, urging you to choose the right path. This suggests that you might be valuing the advice of a wise person whose words are influencing your life.
Ibn Sirin
Priest — Islamic interpretation
From Imam Muhammad Ibn Seerin's Dictionary of Dreams According to Islamic Inner Traditions — entry "Priest" (page 341).
A priest in a dream connotes faith, renouncing the world, staying away from suspicion, or he could represent an Imam, a guide, an example to be followed, or a wise man whose instructions people respect and obey. A priest in a dream also could represent someone who follows conjecture, or someone who does not see his own faults. If a regular person sees himself as a priest in a dream, it means benefits for others, rising in station and fame. If a layman sees himself speaking like a preacher, a soothsayer, a fortuneteller, an astrologer or a priest in a dream, it means that he lies and engages in falsehood.
Note: Islamic dream interpretation depends on the dreamer's circumstances and state. This is a general guide drawn directly from the source book.
