Protegee — Islamic interpretation

Dream interpretation

To take the responsibility of caring for someone, or to sponsor someone, or to become a legal guardian of someone, or to guarantee someone in a dream means blessings, profits, or victory over one's enemy. A sponsorship in a dream also signifies steadfastness and resoluteness of both the guarantor and his protegee. It is also said that sponsoring someone in a dream means to cause him harm. Guaran teeing someone or something in a dream means profits. Sponsoring a child in a dream means advising an enemy. (Also see Guarantee; Legal guardian)

From Imam Muhammad Ibn Seerin's Dictionary of Dreams According to Islamic Inner Traditions — entry "Protegee" (page 344) — resolved via the equivalent "Sponsorship" entry.

Note: Islamic dream interpretation depends on the dreamer's circumstances and state. This is a general guide drawn directly from the source book.

These interpretations are reflective and cultural — not predictions, and not medical, psychological, financial, or other professional advice.
