Purple Dream Meaning

Seeing the color purple in a dream usually points to a search for balance between practical life and your inner feelings. Purple is a mix of red and blue, the body's urges and the mind's calm. So the color tends to appear in dreams when your mind stands between these two and looks for a way forward.

• Deep purple

Deep purple is the color of royalty. In a dream it speaks of a wish to be respected, or of a fresh sense of pride in yourself.

• Lavender

This pale shade goes with a calm state of mind and soft, creative feelings.

• Purple clothes

Your confidence in who you are is growing.

• Purple flowers or a purple sky

You sense an unfamiliar side of life opening up in front of you.

Many cultures see purple as the color of insight. So this dream is often a gentle call to trust your own inner voice a little more.
