Saw Dream Meaning

Dreaming of a saw usually speaks of a decision to cut something off, one that cannot happen in a single stroke but takes slow, steady effort. A saw cuts wood by moving back and forth again and again, and this dream often brings up a relationship or a habit you are pulling yourself away from little by little.

• Sawing wood yourself

You are finishing a hard task with your own hands and with patience. If the cut runs straight, you are sure of your decision.

• The saw getting stuck in the wood

A task or a negotiation has stalled halfway, and you fear that forcing it would do more harm.

• A broken or blunt saw

The way you have been trying to handle the problem no longer works, and you need a new approach.

• Cutting your hand on a saw

You fear that in cutting someone out of your life, you will get hurt too.

• Hearing the sound of a saw

That steady, harsh noise speaks of tension around you that will not let you be at peace.
