Sun Dream Meaning

Seeing the sun in a dream mostly stands for the life force inside you. Just as the sun gives light and warmth to everything on earth, its presence in a dream shows that some positive energy is active in your mind. Where the sun was in the sky and how fiercely it burned make a big difference to the meaning.

• The sun rising

A rising sun signals a new start, a sense that you are entering a chapter of life full of possibility.

• The sun setting

This stands for the end of a phase. A task or a relationship may be drawing to a close, and your mind is trying to adjust to that.

• A blazing, scorching sun

This is a sign of too much pressure, a situation in which you keep working beyond your own limits.

• The sun hidden behind clouds

Something good has slipped out of sight for now, but it is not gone for good.

• Staring straight at the sun

This shows a wish to test the limits of your ability, a drive to achieve something that seems beyond ordinary reach.

A dream of the sun usually carries reassurance: however long the night, the rule that light returns is never broken.
