Tied-up Dream Meaning

Dream interpretation

If you dream that your hands are tied, it indicates that you are feeling restricted in certain aspects of your life. This can symbolize your own limitations or pressures that are preventing you from moving forward. It may also signal a neglect of some responsibilities or obligations. Experiencing this dream suggests that there may be a need for change in your life.

Ibn Sirin

Tied-up — Islamic interpretation

From Imam Muhammad Ibn Seerin's Dictionary of Dreams According to Islamic Inner Traditions — entry "Tied-up" (page 437) — resolved via the equivalent "Handcuff" entry.

Ifone sees his hand tied to his neck in a dream, it means that he does not pay God's rights upon what he earns. If one's hand is tied around his neck in a dream, it also could mean that he will desist from wrongdoing. If both hands are tied-up in the dream, it denotes his stinginess. If one is captured and handcuffed by the authorities in a dream, it means that he will be thrown into jailor fall into difficulties. Seeing oneself handcuffed in a dream also means marriage, wrongdoing, or hypocrisy. (Also see Bondi; Rancor)

Note: Islamic dream interpretation depends on the dreamer's circumstances and state. This is a general guide drawn directly from the source book.
