Whale Dream Meaning

Dreaming of a whale means some big feeling or old experience hidden deep in your mind is now rising to the surface. This huge animal lives in the deepest parts of the ocean, so it stands for a layer of the mind that is not easy to reach. The meaning changes with what the whale was doing.

• A whale swimming calmly

You have learned to live with some big feeling inside you, and it no longer frightens you.

• A whale chasing you or turning violent

This points to a feeling you sense you still cannot handle.

• Riding on a whale's back

This shows the joy of regaining control over that vast feeling.

• Hearing a whale's song

This call travels huge distances under the sea, and it stands for a deep connection that does not need words.

This giant animal reminds you that not everything powerful is violent. The greatest strength often takes the calmest form.
