Clot Dream Meaning

Dreaming of clotted blood usually points to an old pain that has hardened inside you and will not easily dissolve. Fresh blood speaks of a recent wound, but a clot shows that the pain is not new and has settled inside you for a long time. Where on the body you see it and how you react to it make the meaning clear.

• A blood clot on your hand or foot

You are running into an invisible obstacle as you try to move forward in some work or relationship.

• Blood clotting as a wound dries

This has a positive side. An old hurt is now healing, even though the scar remains.

• Feeling afraid at the sight of a clot

This image brings up a worry pressed deep in your mind, often about your own health.

• Washing away clotted blood

Your mind is getting ready to let go of an old pain.

Just as the body tries to heal its wounds on its own, the mind also takes its time to absorb old pain.
