Earth Dream Meaning

Dreaming of earth, the soil under your feet, usually turns your attention to your roots, meaning who you are, your family and where you come from. The ground is always there, silently carrying every weight, so when soil appears in a dream your mind has something to say about these basic matters. The meaning shifts with the kind of soil and the state it is in.

• Sowing seeds or farming in rich soil

It shows an eagerness to start a new plan or relationship, and your mind is getting ready for the future.

• Dry, cracked earth

Some area of your life is drying out from neglect, perhaps because you have stopped looking after yourself or a relationship has had less of your attention.

• Getting stuck in mud

This dream expresses the frustration of being caught up in a situation and unable to move forward.

• Digging in the soil and finding something

It is linked to discovering hidden potential in yourself or an old memory from the past.

• Rolling in the dirt or lying on the ground

It carries a longing to return to simplicity, an urge to live a little more plainly in the middle of a complicated life.
