Shadow Dream Meaning
Dream interpretation
Seeing your own shadow in a dream usually points to the hidden part of your mind that you hesitate to admit to in daylight. What the shadow looked like and what it was doing show how strongly that hidden part is affecting you now.
A shadow much bigger than you
A shadow stretched to an unnatural size across a wall or the ground often appears when buried anger or an old hurt is growing inside you while you refuse to admit it openly.
A shadow moving on its own
If your shadow moves against your will, you feel that control is slipping away in some area of your life.
Being chased by a shadow
A shadow that stays behind you however fast you run speaks of a problem that will not leave you alone, no matter how much you avoid it.
Walking calmly with your shadow or recognizing it
You have begun, slowly, to accept your weaknesses and your hidden anger.
There is no shadow without light. This dream reminds you that the darker sides inside you are also part of who you are, and getting to know them means knowing yourself more fully.
