Road Dream Meaning

Dreaming of a road usually reflects your thoughts about the direction your life is taking. People walk or drive along a road to reach a destination, and the road you travel in sleep speaks in the same way of your direction and your goals. The state of the road shows how life is going right now.

• A straight, wide road

You feel a kind of certainty about the way ahead.

• A road full of potholes, or a dark road

Potholes stand for obstacles and darkness for uncertainty, and you feel you are facing them at this stage of life.

• A road splitting in two or three

In waking life you are also standing before a decision where several paths are open, but it is not clear which one to take.

• Losing your way

Not knowing where you are going speaks directly of unclear goals, especially when many plans are spinning in your head and none of them falls into place.

• Reaching your destination

This dream carries a sense of achievement, as if the reward for long effort is finally within reach.
