Inkwell Dream Meaning
Dream interpretation
Dreaming of an inkwell is tied to a wish to give your words and thoughts a lasting form. Important contracts, letters and decisions were once written in ink, and they could not easily be erased. So a dream of ink often means the time has come to say or write something that will be hard to take back.
An inkwell full of ink
You have a lot to say stored up inside you, and you are only waiting for the right moment.
A dried-up inkwell
You are going through a passing doubt about your ability to express yourself.
Ink spilling on your hands or clothes
Something you said or did has spread further than you expected, for better or worse.
The dream is a reminder that words carry their own weight. Spoken words fade, but written words and promises stay for a long time. So give a little thought to what you put in writing and to whom you give your word.
